HUMTRIPWALE × REAL LABS - WEBSITE / PITCH DEVELOPMENT LOG ====================================================================== Document type : Internal development + deployment record Project : HumTripWale Premium Travel Experience Platform - Platform Pitch Pitch Prepared by : Real Labs Development Current build : V20 presentation release Product build : V17 pitch experience Updated : 2026-09-18 Public route : https://reallabsdevelopment.com/HumTripWale/ Dev log route : https://reallabsdevelopment.com/HumTripWale/dev-log.html IMPORTANT POSITIONING ====================================================================== This website is a LIVE INTERACTIVE PITCH / PLATFORM PITCH DEMO. It is NOT the finished HumTripWale production website and it must not be presented as though every backend, payment, authentication, inventory, CRM, vendor, SEO, or mobile feature is already deployed. The goal of the pitch is to demonstrate: - understanding of HumTripWale's travel business, - how the proposed customer experience should feel, - how booking, CRM, operations, mail, admin and automation connect, - how Real Labs would architect the production system, - how the supplied SRS maps to one coherent platform, - the proposed timeline, investment range and future direction. All visible booking records, traveler records, payments, inventory, analytics, CRM events and operational metrics in this pitch are sample unless explicitly stated otherwise. ======================================================================
01. CURRENT STATUS
01. CURRENT STATUS ====================================================================== Current product experience: V17 Current documentation package: V18 Deployment model: static zero-build HTML/CSS/JavaScript pitch Production web root: /var/www/humtripwale-pitch/ Public URL: https://reallabsdevelopment.com/HumTripWale/ V18 is intentionally a DOCUMENTATION-ONLY release: - updates the raw development log, - updates the public dev-log page, - preserves the V17 interactive pitch experience, - does not add new pitch functionality, - does not require nginx changes. Current major pitch surfaces: - cinematic HumTripWale × Real Labs hero - continuous capability ticker - interactive destination discovery engine - production-style booking journey preview - CRM lead workspace - captain / departure operations cockpit - connected HumTripWale OS control room - event bus and event terminal - admin SaaS workspaces - traveler-facing dashboard preview - custom trip lead builder - Real Labs Mail Engine preview - system architecture explorer - SRS mapping section - technical command center - platform roadmap - investment section - founder-to-founder close - Voice Labs founder narration over travel reel ======================================================================
02. PUBLIC ROUTING / SERVER
02. PUBLIC ROUTING / SERVER
======================================================================
Server:
Ubuntu VPS
SSH host: 66.179.82.171
Primary domain:
reallabsdevelopment.com
Pitch route:
/HumTripWale/
Known working nginx pattern:
location = /HumTripWale {
return 308 /HumTripWale/;
}
location = /HumTripWale/ {
rewrite ^ /HumTripWale/index.html last;
}
location ^~ /HumTripWale/ {
alias /var/www/humtripwale-pitch/;
autoindex off;
add_header Cache-Control "no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate" always;
add_header X-Content-Type-Options "nosniff" always;
}
Verified route behavior during setup:
- /HumTripWale -> 308 -> /HumTripWale/
- /HumTripWale/ -> 200
- /HumTripWale/index.html -> 200
IMPORTANT:
Content releases V2 and later do not require nginx changes.
The deploy script publishes directly into /var/www/humtripwale-pitch/.
======================================================================03. DEPLOYMENT WORKFLOW
03. DEPLOYMENT WORKFLOW ====================================================================== Windows / PowerShell upload pattern: scp "$HOME\Downloads\humtripwale_real_labs_pitch_v18.zip" rvcadmin@66.179.82.171:~/ ssh rvcadmin@66.179.82.171 Ubuntu deployment pattern: cd ~ rm -rf humtripwale_real_labs_pitch_v18 unzip -o humtripwale_real_labs_pitch_v18.zip cd humtripwale_real_labs_pitch_v18 chmod +x deploy-live.sh ./deploy-live.sh deploy-live.sh performs: 1. backup of current live pitch, 2. publication of index.html, 3. publication of dev-log.html, 4. publication of HumTripWale_RealLabs_DEV_LOG.txt, 5. publication of assets, 6. ownership / permissions normalization, 7. nginx syntax validation, 8. public-route HEAD verification. Backup pattern: /var/backups/humtripwale-pitch-YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS No nginx configuration change is required for V18. ======================================================================
04. BRAND / VISUAL DIRECTION
04. BRAND / VISUAL DIRECTION ====================================================================== HumTripWale: - community-driven - adventure-focused - youthful - authentic - premium without feeling corporate - belonging / discovery / shared experiences - tagline direction: Say Yes to New Adventures Primary visual direction used in pitch: - charcoal / dark system surfaces - sunset orange accents - warm beige / sand - white - selective cyan / green system telemetry - mountain / road-trip / group-travel imagery The SRS additionally references: - Deep Ocean Blue - Warm Sand - Sunset Orange - Success Green - White / Light Gray Current pitch deliberately blends: - HumTripWale emotional travel identity with - Real Labs engineering / system-control identity. ======================================================================
05. PITCH vs. PRODUCTION BOUNDARY
05. PITCH vs. PRODUCTION BOUNDARY ====================================================================== INTERACTIVE IN THE PITCH: - destination category selection - destination search / shortlist - booking date selection - traveler count - traveler details - room selection - pickup selection - add-ons - promo-code preview - payment-choice preview - booking confirmation simulation - CRM lead controls - CRM notes / tasks - captain readiness - pickup states - manifest actions - operational broadcasts - admin workspace tabs - control-room event simulation - event terminal commands - SRS module explorer - custom trip lead builder - traveler dashboard preview - technical command center - Voice Labs narration controls NOT ACTUALLY CONNECTED TO PRODUCTION SERVICES: - live payment gateways - live inventory - live OTP / authentication - live traveler accounts - live CRM database - live WhatsApp API - live SMS gateway - live SMTP delivery - live Razorpay / PhonePe / Stripe transactions - live Google Maps - live analytics backends - live AWS production stack - live hotel / vehicle / vendor systems This distinction is intentional and should remain visible in refined language. ======================================================================
06. SRS REVIEW - SOURCE OF TRUTH
06. SRS REVIEW - SOURCE OF TRUTH ====================================================================== HumTripWale supplied: HUMTRIPWALE TRAVEL WEB SRS V1.pdf 36 pages The SRS is now used as a credibility / scope map for the pitch rather than a requirement to build the production site inside the sales demo. Major SRS domains represented in V17: 1. Discovery 2. Booking 3. Customer 4. CRM 5. Operations 6. Admin 7. Payments 8. Communication 9. Platform / technical foundation
10. Future roadmap
10. Future roadmap V17 explicitly labels these surfaces with states such as: - PREVIEWED - INTERACTIVE - MAPPED - ROADMAP This prevents the pitch from falsely implying that the production application already exists. ======================================================================

Removed visible placeholder / unfinished language.
Public-facing terminology changed toward:
- Live Platform Pitch
- Sample Data
- System Preview

- Bookings
- Leads
- Trips
- Captains
- Content
- Mail
- Reports
Each workspace received unique UI instead of simply changing a heading.
V12 - DESTINATION ENGINE ATTEMPT
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Goal:
Make the travel-category chips interactive and add many destinations.
Important defect:
The generation process created intended destination code but did not persist the
modified HTML correctly into the packaged V12 build.
Effect:
The live chips still behaved as static visual elements.
This became an important packaging-validation lesson.
V13 - DESTINATION ENGINE REPplanningR
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fixed V12 packaging problem.
Changed the six hero travel controls into actual buttons:
- Mountains
- Backpacking
- Discovery
- Bonfires
- Community
- Destinations
Added:
- destination counts
- 36-destination data set
- category filtering
- search
- detail panel
- shortlist
- Surprise Me
- Build This Trip
- global destination strip
- keyboard category shortcuts
- visible selected states
Validation was performed against the packaged ZIP bytes, not only the in-memory
generation script.
V14 - PRODUCTION-STYLE BOOKING PREVIEW
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rebuilt booking area into a deeper mini travel product.
Trip panel:
- Overview
- Itinerary
- Includes
- Need to know
- route details
- trip metadata

- generated booking preview ID
Promo-code preview:
HTW500
Confirmation:
- booking -> CRM -> payment -> mail -> ops visualization
- Open in Admin
- Render confirmation email
V15 - OPERATIONS COCKPIT
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Expanded CRM and Captain areas into interactive workspaces.
CRM:
- lead stage
- owner
- next action
- intent signals
- timeline
- notes
- tasks
- WhatsApp
- itinerary email
- Create Booking
Captain:
- readiness ring
- departure KPIs
- pickup states
- operational checklist
- traveler manifest
- document state
- payment reminder
- broadcast presets
- traveler broadcast history
- delay alert
- departure start validation
Added shared live operations event stream.
V16 - CONTROL ROOM RUNTIME REPplanningR
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Critical runtime repair.
Root cause:
V14 booking initialization referenced the V10 `const queueMetric` binding before
the V10 code had initialized it.
Because JavaScript `const` bindings are subject to the Temporal Dead Zone, the
browser threw a runtime ReferenceError and stopped executing the remainder of
the shared script.
Visible symptom:
- Control Room HTML still rendered
- scenario buttons stopped responding
- full lifecycle button stopped responding
- terminal did not initialize correctly
- downstream interaction code did not run
Repair:
- booking module now resolves #queueMetric from the DOM instead of touching the
later lexical binding during startup
- runtime state indicator added
- lifecycle error trapping added
- individual scenario error trapping added
- quick-dock Run OS routed through guarded lifecycle control
Static JavaScript syntax validation passed.
The dangerous pre-V10 lexical reference was removed.
V17 - SRS-AWARE PITCH
----------------------------------------------------------------------
HumTripWale SRS v1 was reviewed in full.
Strategic decision:
Do NOT build the entire SRS into the pitch.
Use the SRS to prove understanding and coverage.
Added only high-impact sales-demo surfaces:
1. SRS Mapping
- Discovery
- Booking
- Customer
- CRM
- Operations
- Admin
- Payments
- Communication
- Platform
- Future
2. Compact Custom Trip Builder
Destination
-> Budget
-> Dates
-> Requirements
-> Lead Created
Then visually maps:
Sales Executive
-> Quotation
-> Approval
-> Payment
-> Confirmed
3. Traveler Dashboard Preview
- upcoming trip
- readiness
- wishlist
- invoices
- support
4. Technical Command Center
- API
- Database
- Security
- SEO
- Infrastructure
- Integrations
5. SRS coverage / positioning language
- PREVIEWED
- INTERACTIVE
- MAPPED
- ROADMAP
- Production Implementation: Post-approval
V17 retained the pitch boundary instead of implying the full HumTripWale system
was already developed.
V18 - DEVELOPMENT LOG REFRESH
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Documentation-only release.
Updated:
- HumTripWale_RealLabs_DEV_LOG.txt
- dev-log.html
- README.md
- build version references
No major product functionality changed from V17.
V19 - COPY AND PRESENTATION REFINEMENT
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Refined the live presentation after a full content review.
Updated:
- simplified public-facing copy
- tightened section labels and supporting text
- improved consistency between the pitch and development log
- preserved all existing interactive flows
- rebuilt from the last complete working site package
- verified the packaged site before release
No nginx or routing changes were required.
V20 - PRESENTATION POLISH
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Focused on making the site read more naturally during a live client presentation.
Updated:
- simplified several headings and explanatory paragraphs
- made technical copy easier to say out loud in a meeting
- shortened disclaimer language
- kept the interactive booking, CRM, operations and system demos intact
- refreshed the public development log to match the current site
- verified JavaScript and packaged files before release
No nginx or routing changes were required.
======================================================================09. INCIDENT / BUG HISTORY
09. INCIDENT / BUG HISTORY ====================================================================== INCIDENT 001 - LOCAL SCP SOURCE DID NOT EXIST ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Symptom: Initial scp attempted to upload a local folder that was not available. Resolution: Use downloadable ZIP artifact, then scp the ZIP. INCIDENT 002 - DUPLICATE NGINX SERVER-NAME WARNING ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Cause: An nginx backup file was created inside /etc/nginx/sites-enabled. Resolution: Move backup outside enabled-site directory: /root/nginx-backups/ Result: Conflict warning resolved. INCIDENT 003 - NGINX ALIAS ROUTE RETURNED HTTP 500 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Observed malformed path: /var/www/humtripwale-pitch/index.htmlindex.html Cause: Exact-route / alias behavior. Resolution: Use exact rewrite to /HumTripWale/index.html followed by alias-backed directory route. INCIDENT 004 - NGINX CONFIG PASTED INTO BASH ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Symptom: Bash returned command-not-found errors for nginx directives. Cause: Configuration text was pasted into the shell rather than an nginx config file. Impact: Harmless to application files. INCIDENT 005 - BASH TRplanningLING BACKSLASH / CONTINUATION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Symptom: Shell displayed > continuation prompt while testing curl. Cause: Trailing backslash. Resolution: Use command without unintended continuation. INCIDENT 006 - POWERSHELL CURL ALIAS ---------------------------------------------------------------------- PowerShell `curl` maps to Invoke-WebRequest in some environments. Resolution: Use: curl.exe INCIDENT 007 - PUBLIC PLACEHOLDER LANGUAGE ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Visible live wording included narration / temporary-state language. Resolution: V7 removed internal / placeholder wording. Standing rule: Public pitch must look finished even when clearly labeled sample. INCIDENT 008 - V12 DESTINATION FEATURES NOT PRESENT ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Cause: Generation code modified an in-memory string but failed to save the modified HTML before ZIP packaging. Resolution: V13 explicitly wrote index.html before packaging and validated features inside the ZIP itself. Process change: Validate final packaged bytes for major release features. INCIDENT 009 - V15/V16 CONTROL ROOM STOPPED WORKING ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Root cause: Booking initialization referenced `queueMetric` before its later `const` declaration had initialized. Technical classification: JavaScript Temporal Dead Zone / initialization-order runtime failure. Resolution: V16 replaced pre-initialization lexical access with direct DOM lookup. Additional hardening: - guarded lifecycle execution - guarded scenario execution - runtime-ready indicator ======================================================================
10. CURRENT KNOWN LIMITATIONS
10. CURRENT KNOWN LIMITATIONS ====================================================================== 1. This remains a static pitch, not a production application. 2. Travel imagery / video may include externally hosted media. Network availability can affect those visual assets. 3. Audible Voice Labs autoplay is subject to browser autoplay policy. User gesture may be required. 4. Some external imagery can fail in restricted local previews while still working in a normal browser. 5. The pitch does not provide real: - login - payment - inventory hold - CRM persistence - OTP - invoice generation - WhatsApp delivery - SMS - SMTP delivery - analytics - map routing 6. Demo state resets on reload because it is intentionally front-end state. 7. The public Dev Log is an engineering / transparency artifact and must not be confused with a production audit trail. 8. Browser QA should still be performed on: - Chrome - Safari - Firefox - Edge - mobile viewport - tablet viewport 9. The old temporary port 8088 Python service was part of early setup. Cleanup should be confirmed if it has not already been disabled. ======================================================================

11. Test major interactive flows. This process was strengthened after the V12 packaging defect. ======================================================================
17. SAFE CHANGE RULES
17. SAFE CHANGE RULES ====================================================================== - Do not change nginx for normal content releases. - Do not remove the investment section. - Do not remove Voice Labs narration. - Do not remove Dev Log links. - Do not replace finished public copy with placeholders. - Do not imply sample demo data is production data. - Do not expand every SRS requirement into a fake working module. - Prefer connected, high-value interactions over decorative motion. - Validate all JavaScript after every major change. - Validate packaged ZIP contents before release. - Preserve a backup before publishing. ======================================================================
18. NEXT-PITCH PRIORITIES
18. NEXT-PITCH PRIORITIES ====================================================================== The current demo is already feature-rich. Future pitch improvements should be selective: - polish / simplify where crowded - improve cross-browser stability - localize external media when practical - stronger responsive QA - improve speaker / presentation flow - keep SRS mapping concise - avoid turning the pitch into a fake finished production application The objective remains: "I understand your SRS, your customer journey, and your operations - and this is what the platform can feel like when Real Labs builds it." ======================================================================
